Bringing This Thing Back To Life...maybe

I did a little updating to this blog and maybe I will use it again!!

Today is my anniversary and have been married to the love of my life for 21 years!!

For those of you who don't know...this is a second marriage for us both and we were planning a wedding, but it just did not work out that way...We were impatient!! We called in sick that day and just went and got married!! We called our families afterwards and told them and went to my house, packed my bags, and here we are 21 years, 5 grown children, 7 grandchildren (another on the way) later!!

LOTS OF UPS AND DOWNS....but I would do it again for him!!

It's Almost Time......

.....FOR VACATION!!! You have no idea how ready I am!!!! One week from today we leave for South Carolina to head to the beach!! A week on the sand under my cabana with a book, a cooler and my (don't laugh) walkman...HAHA..still haven't joined you techies and gotten an iPOD. Maybe this year for Christmas I should just ask for something to bring me into the 21st century, huh?

Yesterday we were back to the Splash Park. Guess who is cooling her toes in one of the water spouts!!! MY SUMMER TOES!! I really really would love to see some Aussie Winter Toes about right now!!! HAHA!! You might not understand that if you were not hanging around Oscraps this past winter!! We just love to have fun over there!!

Last weekend we took the boys to the hunting property to ride the fourwheeler. It really wasn't my thing, but all three boys had fun. For me it was just plain HOT!!! I did get some interesting photos....

And that would bring me to this layout I created this week. There was a challenge over at the Photo Challenge Forum last week to take a photo of something ugly in such a way to make it appear to something beautiful. Well, looking around while we were down there, I saw a whole lot of UGLY....I did get some shots that I thought I could do something with, but I forgot to post one in time. However it did inspire this layout that I made for Mike to put in his book.

Also we made it back to Pump It Up this week...the jump/bounce warehouse. If you want to wear your kids out, take them to one of these places for an hour and a half of jumping and running. They were all asleep in the car on the way home!! My photos are not very good, I never seem to get any good pictures here. It's very dim and really funky lights, plus, it's hard to get any good photo when you are inside one of the jumpy things and everyone is bouncing you all over the place!! I did get some video, but I have not downloaded it. Maybe next week!!

I tell ya, this has been a really low key week...not much at all going on. It was just TOO HOT to go out..most everyday was near 100 degrees..we are setting records left and right!! I did win this weeks challenge over at Helen's PCF for my photo....It was a "Dutch Angle" or "Batman Angle" challenge. Now you know me...always thinking...and I really took the BATMAN thing to heart HAHA!!....so here is my entry:
